Frequently Asked Questions

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This is also a time for you to ask questions and see if we feel like a good fit moving forward.

I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, identity exploration, relationships, life transitions, cultural experiences, self-worth, and personal growth. My work is especially informed by the experiences of individuals exploring the intersections of culture, family, identity, and belonging.

I am currently in-network with BCBS (other insurances are in the works!) and also offer private pay options. If you are unsure about your benefits, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to better understand your coverage for outpatient mental health services.

Most clients meet weekly, especially when beginning therapy, as consistency helps build connection and momentum. Frequency can be adjusted based on your needs, goals, and availability.
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, needs, and the concerns you are working through. Some people seek support during a specific transition, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and growth.
-
Feeling nervous before starting therapy is very common. Reaching out can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re sharing your experiences with someone new. My goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, respected, and able to move at a pace that feels comfortable.

To get started, fill out the contact form with a little information about yourself and what you’re looking for support with. I’ll reach out to answer any questions, share more about the therapy process, and, if you’d like, set up a free 10–15 minute consultation so we can get to know each other and see if we might be a good fit.
